W ENG MENG INDUSTRIES SDN. BHD. was corporated in 1979. We first began its operation as a manufacturer in assorted types of timber joinery product such as wooden drums, office furniture and fitting.In 1989, steel drum because one of our major products manufactured using the latest technology. Following the addition of steel drum, Weng Meng has managed to emerge as one of the major cable drum manufacturer in Malaysia. All our drums manufactured are suitable for all types of cables and steel wire ropes.

The robust growth in the property development industry in Malaysia, has also prompted WENG MENG to venture intoproduction of assorted types of door including fire-reated door and decorative door.
  
In addition, WENG MENG is also involved in Civil Engineering and construction works and services. 

Through our corporate policy and objectives, we have earned a reputation in producing quality cable drums within a competitive price. Consequently, we have emerged to be one of the major cable drums supplier to local as well as overseas cable industries. Our major customer includes our local cable giants such as Power Cable Malaysia, Federal Power, Furukawa, Fujikura, Leader Cable, Gunung Petaling, Universal Cable and etc. 

It is WENG MENG's corporate policy and objectives to develop, manufacture and market products of quality that meets customer needs and latest market demand specifications. Every product is designed to ensure customer requirements and specification are met within reasonable and competitive price range. We adopt a pricing strategy that offers customers value for money for their choice made. 

We strongly believe growth through innovation. With continuous research and development, WENG MENG has come out with completely new and economical steel drum and bobbin recently. They are designed for telephone and fibre optic cable. We believe these new innovations shall enable WENG MENG to capitalise on the growing communication industries in Malaysian. 

Today we have our modern production facility in our 

   new factory located at Lot 41730-A, Batu 14, Jalan Puchong, Selangor Darul Ehsan producing a wide range of high quality products. We also have our in-house research & technical team to constantly innovate our products to meet the market's growing sophisticated needs. By adopting an open-minded policy, we also conduct research and receive constructive feedback from the market information to ensure that products produced and marketed are consistent with our policy and objectives. 

Having established itself in local cable industry, WENG MENG is now looking into expanding into overseas market. In line with our visions, we have duly authorized some overseas agents to market our drums in Australia, Indonesia and Belgium. In addition, we are also exporting our doors to Australia and UK. It is WENG MENG's corporate vision to become one of the major cable drum manufacturers as well as the door exporter in the Asia-Pacific Region. 

In line with our corporate goal to be a major player in cable drum manufacturing, WENG MENG has also embarked on a programme to apply for certification under ISO 9002. With the ISO certification, WENG MENG is expected to break further grounds in both local and as well as overseas market in the near future.
